Furnishing for the Senses

Your furniture isn’t just decor. It’s what your skin touches. What your nervous system rests against after a day spent in modern chaos. Most homes fill their spaces with off-gassing polyurethane & memory foam slabs covered in performance polyester. We don’t.

We choose materials the way you’d choose what goes in your body. Because in a way… they do.

  • Wool Fabrics – For sofas, chairs, rugs, curtains. Naturally flame-resistant (ignition point: ~1,040°F). Breathable. Moisture-regulating. Antimicrobial. No microplastic shedding. Hallingdal 65 by Kvadrat supplies a timeless wool-viscose blend for heirloom-grade upholstery.

  • Sofas that have both natural fabrics and MoMA vibes. The Stone Sofa by Alter Ego Studio is sculpture you can sit on and surprisingly comfortable. This piece is a fan favorite across the board. The Mode Modular Sofa by Alter Ego Studio is another staple in many of my designs, offering non-toxic comfort and incredible visual appeal.

  • Hand-Tanned Leather is rich, grounding, and ages with grace. We source from tanneries that use vegetable tanning, not chromium, to keep toxicity out of your space and off your skin. This Milo Sofa staple piece (I cant count 10 living rooms I’ve placed this in) uses Moore and Giles Italian leather which has been fully approved by Leather Naturally and maintains membership with the collective showing their commitment to the tradition.

  • Wool & Mohair Textiles means No polypropylene. No VOC-laden stain treatments. Just real, breathing fibers. The Baby Alpaca Blanket by Viso Project is an ethical, lightweight, buttery-soft, temperature regulating snuggle necessity especially when paired with their Mohair Pillow plush texture, a variety colors, woven in Spain.

  •  Solid Wood & Stone Dining Tables. I will die on this hill. MDF with a veneer is just cardboard in a tuxedo. A gross chemical based tuxedo. We prefer reclaimed oak & walnut, porcelain, and travertine materials that hold memory and age with dignity. For those that want a blend of modern art and function the M08 Dining Table actually sets my soul on fire (especially when you place white and pink orchid arrangements in the center) while the Gubi Epic Tables offer more versatility when it comes to sizes, colors, models, and chair selection.

  • Benches. Who doesn’t love a good bench? I do. The Sintra Bench by Project 213A leans into organic minimalism with wool cushioned softness for your tush and a grounding presence when placed in your closet, sitting room, entryway or quiet corner.

  • Lighting That Feels Alive. A soft sculpture with glow. Your lamp shouldn’t feel like something you brought home from the office. It should feel like a quiet friend in the corner. A friend like this Pearl Lamp by Alter Ego Studio, a biomorphic marble light that curves like nature intended.

No Performance Polyester. No Foam Mystery Slabs. Mass-market foam cushions off-gas VOCs into your lungs for years. Your nervous system deserves better. Your children’s lungs deserve better. We furnish homes with materials your great-grandparents would recognize. Not because it’s trendy. Because it’s real.

Most designers choose furniture based on aesthetics alone.

We choose pieces that are beautiful, tactile, and biologically coherent.

Because your home isn’t a showroom. It’s your reprieve.
